Returns & Refund Policy

At Monarch Misfits, every piece is created with intention, care, and craftsmanship. Our Hoodies and Framed Quote Artworks are made especially for each customer, often produced to order and carefully prepared based on the selected size, frame, finish, and design.

Because each order is made specifically for you, we want to be fully transparent about our returns and refund policy while also making sure you feel confident and comfortable when placing your order.

Made Especially for You

All Monarch Misfits artworks are created specifically for the customer. This includes made-to-order framed quote art, custom pieces, and artworks produced in your selected size and finish.

For this reason, returns are generally not possible once the order has entered production, as these pieces are created uniquely for you and cannot simply be restocked or resold as standard inventory.

However, this should never feel like something to worry about.

Our goal is to make the process as clear and smooth as possible from the moment you place your order, so you can shop with confidence.

Clear Expectations Before Production

We put a lot of care into making sure you know exactly what to expect before your artwork is produced.

This includes clear information regarding:

artwork style and design
dimensions and framing
finish and presentation
product images
order details and customization choices

We believe that clear communication creates peace of mind, which is why we aim to make every detail easy to understand before production begins.

Damaged During Shipping

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, we kindly ask that you provide:

clear photos of the packaging
clear photos of the damage
your order number
a short description of the issue

If the damage occurred during shipping, we will always work with you to find the best possible solution.

Depending on the situation, this may include:

a replacement artwork
a replacement frame
repair or re-production
a full refund in exceptional cases

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want you to receive your piece exactly as intended.

Customers are responsible for return shipping charges unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

Quality Issues or Production Errors

Every piece is carefully checked, but in exceptional cases, an issue may occur during production.

Examples may include:

incorrect sizing
incorrect framing
visible production defects
order details not matching your purchase
mistakes on our side during customization

If this happens, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

If the issue is due to an error on our side, we will of course make it right and provide an appropriate solution as quickly as possible.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Because many pieces move into production shortly after the order is placed, cancellations or changes are only possible before production has started.

If you need to update or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible after purchase.

Once production has begun, changes may no longer be possible.
